Inversions & Arm Balances Workshop
As I progressed through my Yoga Teacher Training in 2016 it became very apparent that I was a very hands on, attentive teacher with an eye for alignment and safe practice. My style of teaching is a direct result of training and performing aerial circus for years where safety and body awareness was paramount.
With this in mind I thought I could use my skills to do two things.
Firstly, teaching absolute beginners the intricacies of yoga posture from Balasana (child pose) to the three Virabhadrasana (warrior poses) and everything in between. You'll learn how these poses are achievable even with limitations of inflexibility or injury.
In our Absolute Beginners Foundation Workshop we'll use various props to help you access a myriad of asanas and by the end of the workshop you'll have the confidence to continue your practice at home or in one of the amazing studios in Milton Ulladulla.
We’ll also explore different breathing methods (pranayama) and how it helps with poses and it calmative effects.
After you've completed your Absolute Beginners Workshop you are invited to join the Beginner + Workshop where each week for six weeks we build on strength, expand your asana (pose) library, and keep working on your flexibility.
Secondly I can help intermediate to advanced students strengthen their practice via workshops, including arm balances, headstands and handstands as opposed to a yoga flow class.
In your Intermediate or Inversions & Arm Balances Workshop you expand your catalogue of balances, find various ways to enter and exit poses with control and discover all the inversions and how to enter and exit them gracefully and with strength and control.
